Conwy Count Borough Council, along with all other Local Authorities, is allocated a Welsh Government Flying Start Account Manager to support the ongoing monitoring and delivery of the programme.

Each Local Authority is required to submit an annual Flying Start delivery plan. These plans are scrutinised by Account Managers to ensure that core elements of the programme are being delivered to the required standard, in line with the terms and conditions of the Flying Start Grant.

Quarterly progress monitoring reports are submitted by Local Authorities and are assessed by the Welsh Government. Any concerns relating to the delivery of the programme are addressed at formal account management meetings in line with the terms and conditions of the grant.

Since 2006 the total sum of revenue funding awarded to Conwy County Borough Council to deliver Flying Start is £21,439,952.  The Local Authority has also been awarded more than £759,000 of Flying Start Capital funding to support the delivery of the programme.
